TRINCON Celebrates Milestone with Staff Additions and Strategic Reorganization Plan
January 11, 2008
TRINCON GROUP, a leading national transportation industry advisory firm, is honoring its 26 years of business through the unveiling of its multi-level reorganization initiative.
The reorganization efforts include revamping TRINCON’s corporate Web site, expanding its current office space and hiring additional members to its team of experienced consultants.
“TRINCON has grown immensely since it was founded in 1982 and with growth comes change,” said Duff Swain, TRINCON president. “We want to take TRINCON into the future and continue to keep current with changes in the transportation industry and offering companies the right tools and proactive solutions that will allow their businesses to grow and prosper.”
TRINCON’s new Web site will offer more in-depth information about the company’s services and make its innovate industry tools easily accessible for visitors. The site will grant users the access to numerous educational articles and white papers in a user-friendly way. When the site goes live later in 2008, the pages will be more organized, easier to scan at first glance, easier to search. Additionally, it will provide a free Driver Turnover Cost Calculator to help estimate the cost of driver turnover for different companies.
Along with plans for a new Web site came an office expansion for TRINCON members. A main reason for the office extension was to accommodate new members to the TRINCON’s corporate team. The members include seasoned professionals in sales and marketing, finance and operations and administrative and sales to support the daily operations.
“The new team members will bring fresh new ideas to corporate programs and provide TRINCON customers more innovative and strategic ideas for the trucking industry”, said Swain.
To continue on its path of providing exemplary service and solutions, TRINCON launched a new program in the summer of 2007 to attack problems plaguing the industry, such as record turnover rates, a severe driver shortage, and lost productivity. The launch of the program ignited the company’s reorganization and expansion efforts.
This program consists of three different components—advisory services, specialized services and the resource center. TRINCON’s advisory services offer transportation companies advice on how to assemble the resources necessary to guide company growth. Specialized services help companies improve driver retention, improve profitability, improve new business development and enhance management team development. The resource center offers TRINCON’s expertise in a collection of articles, white papers, manuals, “Webinars” and seminars.
TRINCON’s dedicated service to its clients is a direct result of its pledge to support and advance the trucking industry. This new company growth and multi-level re-organization, in conjunction with TRINCON’s expertise and dedication to the nuances of the trucking industry, are clear indicators that it will continue to prosper for another 26 years and likely beyond.
